A hive is many cells working as one — and that's exactly how we build. Hive Ventures began as a single idea: help travelling families find each other and make the most of the world. That idea became FamilyTravelHive, and from there the portfolio grew naturally, one family need at a time.

Families wanted trusted, kid-tested recommendations wherever they went — so we built ActivityHive.fun. They wanted to hold on to the voices and stories of the people they love — so we built WeaveMyLife.com. They wanted a hands-on way to teach their kids about money — so we built FamiLift.com, the family bank parents run for their children. And as those kids reached university applications, they needed honest readers for their admissions essays — so we built AdmissionsLens.

MuseumDesk.com came from a different place. Lisa spent years in museum collections — including at Cambridge and Stanford — and saw the same gap over and over: small and mid-size museums doing careful, important work with software that never quite fit. So we built the AI tools she wished those teams already had — MuseumDesk.com.

Today, Hive Ventures operates all 6 products under one umbrella, with a shared team, shared infrastructure and one mission: technology that brings families closer together — and gives cultural institutions tools that respect how they actually work.
